Dr. Keasha Guerrier

Dr. Keasha S. Guerrier is a board-certified family physician deeply committed to improving community health. Fluent in English and Spanish, she effectively connects with patients from diverse backgrounds. Her journey began at the Latin American School of Medicine, where she cultivated leadership skills as Co-President of the U.S. Delegation, fostering her passion for global health. Following her residency at Northwell Health, she served as Chief Resident, honing her clinical skills and dedication to patient-centered care. Dr. Guerrier is a strong advocate for underserved communities. She served as Chief Medical Officer for a Northwell Health Disaster Medical Assistance Team during Hurricane Maria, providing critical care in a challenging environment. Locally, she actively participates in the Coalition of Concerned Medical Professionals in Brooklyn, providing pro-bono care and health education. Dr. Guerrier’s global health work includes presentations at international conferences and mentoring international family medicine residents through WONCA FM360. She actively promotes diversity and inclusion within the New York Academy of Family Physicians and develops curriculum for residents. As a sought-after speaker, Dr. Guerrier empowers communities by sharing her expertise and inspiring action towards better health outcomes.
